The dining experience was top-notch, especially the fixed price three-course meal that knocked our socks off. Breakfast? One of the best I've had! Plus, the free battlements tour really added a dash of history to our stay.

The breakfast was lovely, a menu choice of full English, porridge, yoghurts, toast, eggs etc tea and coffee and fruit juices. Service was amazingly fast and attentive. Also the room was lovely with a teddy knight for that special touch.

We had a fantastic time exploring the grounds with the kids. Daily tours of the castle are a highlight, and the kids loved wandering through the majestic rooms. The nearby hills provide great walking trails, making it a fun adventure for the whole family.

In my wife’s opinion, the dinner situation was confusing and could use better organization, particularly for families. A simpler dining process would greatly enhance the experience.
